Antique set of four yellow ware nesting bowls with blue and white decorative banding. They all have faint crazing. Beautiful glossy glaze. A wonderful collection and display piece.
Largest bowl is 6"T x11" diameter (inner diameter) and is marked "11" on the bottom. Excellent condition. It has one small old chip on the base.
Second largest bowl is 5"T x 9" diameter and is marked "9" on the bottom. It has a significant chip on the rim, and a hairline crack (pics 10,11). Because of this crack, this is the only bowl I consider fragile, and handle with care. The other three seem quite sturdy.
Third largest bowl is 3.75"T x 7" diameter. Unmarked on the bottom. Has scalloped decorative shape faintly imprinted under the banding. Excellent condition.
Smallest bowl is 2.75"T x 4.5" diameter. Unmarked on the bottom. Excellent condition. Small chip in the rim.
