Leather Athletic Bench, Belgian 1960s

European (Belgium) athletic bench, circa 1960s. Most likely was used in a school. The industrial bent steel and welded tube base was made to hold some heavy weightlifters, while the upholstered leather top provides some cushion. Legs have a creme colored enamel paint. Leather top has a beautiful time-worn patina. This industrial bench has a great look and would be an authentic vintage addition to either a commercial space, or at home. Perfectly stylish to hold a stack of blankets in the bedroom, as a coffee table piled with books, or a foot rest, seat/laptop station for the modern family room.

Age: 1950/60s

Condition: Solid. Leather top shows aging/patina, legs have been re-painted. See pics.
