Large Wire Laundry Basket, Antique

Rare, heavy duty industrial wire basket with folding top. Originally used as burn containers (back when burning your trash was the way to go). The scalloped top wire bends to open and close. We had them sandblasted clean and powder-coated semi-gloss black. They are smooth, clean and usable for laundry, blankets, etc. 

I have two of these available. Price is for one basket. 

Age: 1920/30s

Condition:  Excellent vintage condition with new coat of paint. 

Dimensions: 27 inches tall (with the top folded down) x 20"diameter  / 4.5 lbs
