Large Wooden Tool Chest, Antique

Large handmade wooden carpenter's tool chest/box. Quality primitive construction with mitered and nailed corners. Chest has worn original brown paint on the exterior and an industrial grey paint on the underside of the hinged lid. Lid closes with a lap-over fit to the box and has the remains of an old skeleton key lock. The handles on the ends are cast-iron turn of the century hardware with flourished details. Interior has been cleaned and lightly oiled but may need to be clear coated to store clean soft goods.
