Nice early 1920s seed or grain display bin with ten front load compartments and five recessed cubbies on top. Front load bins are slightly shorter (16") on the first row and taller (18") across bottom. All the bins have a great scoop mouth profile and a small slot opening at the bottom front. Sturdy pine construction with paneled ends and period joinery. This piece was removed from a long since closed farm/general store in Northern Indiana.
Condition notes: Showing a slight crack on one top corner, and some previous moisture damage on one end panel.
Dimensions: 41"tall x 70" wide x 25"deep.
Top is divided into five recessed cubbies, with each cubby being 12 3/4"wide x 14 1/4" deep x 4" high.
First row has five compartments with each being 12 3/4"wide x 18 1/2"deep x 16" height.
Bottom row has five compartments with each being 12 3/4"wide x 21" deep x 18"height.
