Oak Cheval Dressing Mirror, circa 1890s

100% original quarter sawn oak cheval dressing mirror. Manufactured by Paine Fine Furniture, Boston, Mass. The original paper label on the bottom dates the piece to the late 1800s. The large oval mirror glass has a beveled edge. The hand silvered mirror is original to the piece and is showing some minor aging to the silver. The mirror tilts and swivels, as well as rolls on original casters. Easily disassembles into three pieces (framed mirror, wooden yoke, base w/casters) by hand with original brass hardware.

Measurements: 70.5"H x 29.5"W x 20"D. 

Age: Late 1800s

Condition: Silver aging to the mirror. Small speckles of old paint on the surface of the feet, as can be seen in the pics.
